Is it suitable for big dogs?
We’ve tested the leash up to 30 kg, and it held up well. That said, suitability also depends on your own strength and your dog’s pulling behavior. If your dog is exceptionally strong or reactive, consider whether a hands-free leash fits your needs.

What is it made from?
The leash is crafted from cowhide leather - two leather straps stitched together for strength and flexibility. All hardware is made from solid brass.

What are its dimensions?
The leash is 2.8 m long, 1.5 cm wide, and around 4 mm thick. It weighs 240 grams.

Why these dimensions?
The length ensures that the leash fits all body types while leaving sufficient range for your dog. If you use about 1 m of leash length around your body (depending on height and whether you wear it cross-body or at the waist), that leaves roughly 1.8 m for your dog - similar to a standard leash length.

Can I use it with any harness or collar?
Yes. The leash attaches to any standard collar or harness with a D-ring. We use a rotating swivel hook, since fixed hooks can occasionally cause the leash to twist and unclip.

Does it fit all body sizes?
Yes. The leash is fully adjustable - you can push the leather through the rings and reposition them to match your height, waist size, or clothing layers. At 2.8 m total length, there’s enough give for both you and your dog.

Can I adjust it while walking?
Yes. The leash is designed to be adjusted on the go. For quick shortening, we suggest positioning the last ring (closest to your dog) so that when clipped to the front hook, your dog walks closely by your leg - ideal in crowded areas or near other dogs, while staying hands-free.

Is it weatherproof?
Leather naturally repels a bit of moisture, but we recommend keeping it dry. If it gets wet, let it air dry and treat it occasionally with leather conditioner to maintain its texture and durability.

Can I use it with two dogs?
We don’t currently offer a splitter. Some customers attach a second leash to the side ring, but please note the leash is tested for single-dog use only.

Care Instructions

• Clean gently with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris, do not machine wash.
• Condition with a pet-safe leather conditioner to maintain flexibility and durability.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or oils, as these may stain or weaken the leather over time.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent cracking or discoloration.

Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging.
